Michael is not only a business owner, but also an inspiring leader in our community. Our connection to him goes beyond business– General Manager of the West Warwick dealership, Mike Gervais, is the Special Olympics coach for the Rhody Rangers, a team Michael is proudly part of.
After more than two years at his former location, rising rental fees forced Michael to close his previous coffee shop. However, with determination and the support of his family and community, he reopened in Warwick, Rhode Island, this past June.
This wasn’t just about reviving a coffeehouse; it’s about creating opportunities. Michael’s mission includes giving opportunities to those with special needs through employment, as well as by offering the coffeehouse as a free meeting space and classroom to a large organization that supports individuals with intellectual disabilities.
When we learned about Michael’s plans to re-open Red White & Brew Coffeehouse and expand his mission, we knew that our team at Culligan of West Warwick had to get involved. His vision of creating opportunities for individuals with special needs perfectly aligns with our values of supporting and making a positive impact in our local community.
As part of this partnership, Culligan has donated a Hot/Cold Water Dispenser and Cooler to Red White & Brew Coffeehouse. This energy-efficient, low-maintenance dispenser delivers cleaner, tastier water with the convenience of a bottom-load design, eliminating the hassle of lifting heavy bottles.
