A Positive Influence Around the Globe
From microscopic organisms to massive cities, water sustains us all. Today, the world faces a new range of challenges, from climate change to calls for greater equity, that can only be met with a global effort.
At Culligan, we are committed to building a better, more sustainable world by improving both our social and environmental impact.
Sustainability Is Our Priority
Sustainability is a multifaceted challenge, and building a more sustainable world requires all of us to do what we can. At Culligan, we believe that cleaner, healthier water can help contribute to improving the lives of people around the world and is a key driver towards solving some of the biggest challenges that lie in our future.
Our goal is to do everything we can in the areas where we are best equipped to truly effect change. To that end, we’ve developed a core set of commitments that align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and serve as the focus of our work to build a better world.

Culligan Helps Communities
Access Cleaner Water
Formed in 2005, Culligan CARES is the philanthropic arm of our company, focused on
helping individuals, families and communities in need of cleaner, safer water. The work
is overseen by the Culligan CARES Committee, members of Culligan’s independent dealer
network and corporate advisors who review the requests and seek out new opportunities to
assist. 99% of funding for Culligan CARES initiatives is raised by our dealers.
We partner with NGOs to help carry out our mission and most effectively reach the communities where our help can have the greatest impact. These partnerships include groups such as the Convoy of Hope, the American Diabetes Association, Water Well Trust, and World Concern.
Culligan CARES focuses on three types of projects:
•Local community: supporting local and charitable events
•Clean water: providing cleaner, safer drinking water where clean water is a high priority
•Disaster relief: providing bottled water to catastrophe victims and first responders
Since 2015, Culligan CARES has completed more than 25 projects globally, including in under-developed countries such as Uganda and Laos.
Why We Value Diversity,
Equity and Inclusion
Leading With Authenticity
Doing our part to bring about a better, more sustainable world means more than environmental initiatives. We’re also focused on critical social issues including diversity, equity and inclusion.
As a global organization with employees from wide-ranging nationalities and backgrounds, we strive to create a culture that encourages every individual to bring their unique experiences and perspectives to their work. We believe that building a workforce from a diverse representation of cultures, race, ethnicity, age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, and physical capabilities is more than the right thing to do – it’s foundational to our success.
We will build a worforce that reflects our diverse audiences–at all levels
We believe diverse teams add real value to our work; they’re essential in helping us build our business and address the emerging challenges around water.
We will foster a culture of inclusion that values our differences
An environment where people can be their true selves is one where they can share their unique perspectives and know their contributions are valued.
We will be committed, accountable and transparent, starting from the top
To be effective, we need to show results. Broad and sustainable progress starts with setting clear goals and taking real action.
