Daytona, Florida – In 1973, milk
was 40 cents a gallon, a new car cost less than $3,000, and Michael
Carey was starting in the Culligan business. Today, Carey continues to
help area residents with all of their water needs and is more than happy
to put four decades worth of experience to use every day.

today announced their 2013 Culligan Dealer Service Awards and
Culligan Dealer Performance Awards. The awards recognize the
outstanding service, leadership and entrepreneurship of dealers
nationwide. Individuals who have reached five-year milestones
with the company are honored.
Especially noteworthy are the individuals who have logged 25
years or more with the company, including seven who are celebrating
50-plus years as Culligan dealer franchisees. Eleven U.S. dealers
also are being recognized for their excellent sales
Culligan and Extended Stay America Partner to Provide Guests Free, In-Room Filtered Water
CHICAGO (Nov. 13, 2012) – Culligan, a leading water treatment company with award-winning water filtration systems, has partnered with Extended Stay America to offer free, filtered water in guest rooms at select hotel properties in the U.S. Travelers often bring water to their hotel rooms in single-use plastic bottles to avoid paying a premium for designer bottled water offered in the mini-fridge or hotel convenience stores. Now Extended Stay America guests can take advantage of a better option: fresh, filtered Culligan water available free from the kitchen faucet in their room. The installation of Culligan water filters on kitchen taps in hotel rooms began in March 2012 with Extended Stay America’s California properties; the filters are being added to additional rooms across the country throughout 2013 as Extended Stay America completes planned renovations on many U.S. properties. From a sustainability standpoint, Extended Stay America and Culligan are committed to providing this environmentally friendly amenity for guests, keeping single-use plastic water bottles out of landfills.
Culligan’s New High Efficiency Water Softener for Commercial Use Launches in Europe
Culligan® has introduced the innovative
Culligan High Efficiency (HE) Water Softener Series for commercial water
treatment in Europe - the system was released in North America in July
2011. The Culligan HE Softener Series can dramatically reduce a
company's water use and, therefore, its operational costs. The
softener system offers a range of advanced features and options to meet a
customer's particular water usage and quality requirements.
Additionally, the Culligan HE Softener Series addresses common
ease-of-use challenges. Its remote display can be placed up to 60 meters
(200 feet) away from the softener, making it easy to monitor the system
even if it is located in an area that is difficult to access or far
from a maintenance office. Additionally, the system's five year battery
back-up retains programming parameters and historical data, which
eliminates the need to reset parameters after a power outage.
Culligan has a team of highly skilled
professionals available to assess customer needs and then design,
manufacture, install, train and service its customers over the lifespan
of the equipment. The Culligan HE Softener Series is available in
Italy, the UK and Spain, and will be released in France later in 2012.

Culligan Celebrates 75 Years with “Hey Culligan Man!” Update and New Resource-Rich Website
Chicago, IL (January 17, 2012) – It’s not every day a 75-year-old company re-defines its brand icon. Water treatment leader Culligan International is doing just that with an update to its famous “Hey Culligan Man!” persona. A new website at culligan.com (culligan.ca in Canada) features a new Culligan Man and is loaded with information on water quality and water treatment solutions for homeowners and businesses. The initiatives cap the company’s 75th anniversary year.
